You are not deemed to be a “Client” until you have received a written fee agreement from Calabrese Law which states we represent you in a particular matter and is signed by you and our firm (“fee agreement”). You should not send to Calabrese Law any confidential information about any such matter prior to establishing an attorney-client relationship. Only persons or entities who have received a fully executed fee agreement from our office stating that Calabrese Law will be providing legal services may utilize the protections governing the attorney-client relationship. Legal services are defined as services provided by an attorney acting in his/her capacity as a licensed attorney.

Legal and Non-Legal Services:
Clients receiving both legal and non-legal services may utilize the protections governing the attorney-client relationship as to the non-legal services if the non-legal services are not distinct from the legal services rendered. Clients cannot utilize the protections governing the attorney-client relationship when the non-legal services are distinct from the legal services. Distinct non-legal services are those that are different, separate, disconnected, dissimilar, detached or far removed from the legal services rendered. Note that distinct non-legal services may be performed in conjunction with legal services and that the substance of the distinct non-legal services may be related to the legal services. All clients seeking both legal and non-legal services will be informed, in writing, of the scope of their attorney-client relationship prior to any services being rendered. All clients seeking both legal and non-legal services must acknowledge, in writing, that they accept and understand the scope of their attorney-client relationship.
